Less is More
"It’s been almost 2 years since we started our healing journey with you and my motherhood has never been happier!
It feels so good to take my kids to a math tutor instead of endless therapies!
And yes, "I" now is my “difficult” child because "R" is basically recovered. Now I have “more time” to focus on other family members. I remember days when my entire world was "R" only and only "R".
I wanted to share this fantastic update, as "R" is basically recovered! I remember he just wanted to go to school like his twin brother, "I", and he has!
On top of homeopathy, Mum did a variety of therapies like Integrating Primitive Reflexes and Myofascial release. These work really well alongside homeopathy.
Email me for a list of complementary therapies that this Mum did add in! She compiled it into a nice document for me!
What I really feel helped "R" get recovered quickly was what Mum didn't do.
Mum didn't add in antibiotics, anti-fungals, or medications on top of homeopathy, and I truly believe that made a huge difference!
I often see meds or antibiotics added in alongside homeopathic care, and I get it, we want to do everything we can for our kids to recover them.
Honestly, though, this not only muddies the picture that I see as a homeopath, but it's a stressor on the child's already overtaxed system.
There is a lot of back and forth between what the meds are forcing the body to do, and what the remedies are reminding the body to do. It's a constant tug of war.
There is no right or wrong here, just a lot of messages being sent to your child's body at once.
Where do I see the best success? When you pick one modality at a time, and stay with it for at least 6 months.
I have so many kids that I work with who are on 25 supplements daily, Leucovorin comes on, then a few rounds of antibiotics are prescribed, and more, then homeopathy is added in. It's just too much for any one body to handle. Let alone a body who already has compromised detox pathways.
Recently, I've introduced a new policy for families beginning care with me. I'm asking that no new medication or antibiotics are brought on within the first 6 months (existing meds are ok).
This policy is there because these kiddos are already under such stress. We need to lighten the load, and not add to it further.
